In May of 2025, my business partner and I formed a partnership with a local van customization business known as Nomadik Customs. Nomadik approached us because their business had outgrown their current systems and they were looking to modernize their operations.

Patchbay has been designing and building operational systems for Nomadik with the goal of streamlining their entire workflow, from customer acquisition, through to van construction and delivery. When we got there, we learned that they were a fairly traditional business that had been built on spreadsheets and hand shakes. While their processes got them to a certain level of success, as they grew, they were unable to manage at scale. We spent considerable time documenting processes, observing and interviewing, and generally unpacking the multiple problems that prevented their business from growing. From there we enacted a suite of solutions to help them - from off the shelf productivity platforms to fully custom-built software solutions.
Additionally, we have developed an entire Service and Installation system that has allowed Nomadik to expand its services and extend their relationship with the community beyond the initial build life-cycle, bringing in a significant new revenue stream. We are also creating a new digital storefront, redesigning the existing web site, and instituting new infrastructure.
